Toyota has quietly upgraded the 2027 RAV4 PHEV with Tesla-style NACS charging ports and fast-charging capability across all trims. The move allows owners to tap into Tesla’s vast Supercharger network and other NACS-compatible stations, making the plug-in hybrid easier to use like a full EV for daily driving.
The addition of fast charging is a significant step for the RAV4 PHEV, which previously relied on slower Level 2 charging. With NACS now standard, buyers get broader charging infrastructure access without needing adapters. This positions the RAV4 PHEV as a more versatile option for drivers seeking plug-in flexibility with petrol backup.
